- The scheme full package is only applicable to the principal Member, spouse, extended family members and children from the age of 14 to 21 as well as on the Member only package.
- The policy covers up to 6 child dependents on a normal scheme.
- Mentally retarred as well as permanent and totally disabled children are covered until their death or for as long as the principal member participates on the scheme.
- Children under the age of 14 DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE FULL PACKAGE.
- More benefit can be purchased at additional costs.
- No packages will be paid out in cash. Mbavhalelo Funeral Undertakers offer ONLY service packages (Mbavhalelo Funeral Undertakers will pay 70 % of the total package, if for any reason Mbavhalelo Funeral Undertakers cannot conduct your funeral.
- There is a waiting period of 6 months and 9 months for member between 65 and 84.
- Maximum joining age of all principal members is 65 years.
- Maximum joining age for extended family is 84 years.
- There is no waiver allowed on premiums for any of these schemes.
- Premiums must always be paid before the 7th of each month.
- If premiums are not received for one month, the policy will lapse on the 7th of the second month. Reinstated policies will carry the original waiting period of the policy.
- No claim will be paid for Suicidal death before 2 (three) years of policy being in force.
- Only one spouse per principal member is allowed.
- Claims must be notified within 3 months after each death.
- There is no surrender, loan nor policy, can be ceded onto bank for loans.
